eSentio client wins coveted Project of the Year National Award for 2008
Atlanta, GA - November 6, 2008 - One of eSentio’s longstanding clients, King & Spalding, announced today that it has won Executive Alliance's first annual Project of the Year National Award for 2008, in the infrastructure management category. The firm was selected for this award for its data center consolidation project. eSentio worked closely with King & Spalding to employ innovative new network and storage technologies to successfully reduce the number of its U.S. office data centers by 60 percent, while providing more efficient and cost-effective information technology as the firm continued to expand with the addition of eight new offices since January 2007. Washington, D.C. - August 14, 2007 - It is with great pleasure that eSentio announces the addition of Nan Jefferies to the firm’s consulting team. Nan comes to eSentio with over 20 years experience leading litigation and practice support efforts for major law firms and vendor organizations. Prior to joining eSentio, Nan was a consultant at Baker Robbins & Company and also served as the Director of Practice Support Services for Shook, Hardy & Bacon, LLP. While at Shook, Hardy & Bacon, Nan created and developed an internal consultancy for the firm consisting of project managers, business analysts, imaging and coding specialists, full trial site services and a demonstrative evidence team.

Widely regarded as a leading industry expert, Ms. Jefferies is well versed in building litigation support organizations and processes, assessing support needs, creating a strategy for litigation support in a firm, and selecting and managing appropriate vendors. Ms. Jefferies has spoken on these topics at CLE programs and at legal industry conferences and tradeshows.

eSentio Welcomes Two New Senior Consultants
Washington, D.C. - April 17, 2007

Ha Truong, Senior Consultant
Ha Truong is a Senior Consultant at eSentio and has extensive experience with client and server application management and development.  Mr. Truong has over 8 years of IT experience, and spent the past 6 years as the Senior Database Consultant at Jenner and Block LLP, an AmLaw 100 firm based in Chicago, Illinois.  While at Jenner, he conducted several Hummingbird, Interaction and LegalKey installations and upgrades. Mr. Truoung’s role in each was to oversee the entire lifecycle of the project including the development of a project plan, implementation, software design, server installation, supervision of migration plan and back out strategies, as well as roll out administration. Mr. Truong uses his knowledge of large firm culture and his experience in developing and implementing technology strategies to assist eSentio clients through the planning, implementation, evaluation, and troubleshooting stages of their projects.

Mr. Truong resides in Chicago, Illinois and operates out of eSentio’s Washington, DC headquarters.

Teresa Colloton, Senior Consultant
Teresa Colloton is a Senior Consultant at eSentio and has over 14 years of extensive project management experience with business, manufacturing, distribution, construction and IT. 

Ms. Colloton most recently was contracted to develop project management governance at a leading energy company located in Wisconsin.  Previously, Ms. Colloton spent nearly four years at Assurant Health (formerly Fortis Health), a multi-billion dollar insurance and European banking corporation located in Wisconsin.  At Assurant, she independently and successfully provided oversight for multiple large scale, high risk and complex projects geared towards achieving the organization’s strategic goals.  While utilizing corporate standard project management tools and methodologies, Ms. Colloton effectively organized and led cross-functional project teams through all phases of the project life cycle.  In addition, Ms. Colloton designed, developed and implemented a Corporate Enterprise Project Office; and managed the Completely Redesigned Underwriting Integration System Enhancement (CRUISE), and the $.5 million multi-phased in-house developed software application, Product Compliance Information System (PCIS) for the compliance function. 

Prior to Assurant, Ms. Colloton spent two years as the project manager for a $1.5 million legal and business systems conversion at Reinhart et al, located in Wisconsin.  Ms. Colloton holds her Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) and is a member of the Project Management Institute- Milwaukee Chapter.  Ms. Colloton uses her knowledge of project management tools and methodologies, and her experience in leading multi-million dollar projects to assist eSentio clients through the planning, implementation, evaluation, and troubleshooting stages of their projects.
 

Ms. Colloton resides in Wisconsin and operates out of eSentio’s Washington, DC headquarters.

Jeffrey Wolf joins eSentio as a senior consultant.  With over 10 years of IT experience, Mr. Wolf has extensive knowledge of strategic and tactical uses of technology that increase efficiency and effectiveness of business development, marketing strategies and business processes within the legal industry.  Mr. Wolf most recently served as Vice President of Marketing and Product Management at XMLAW, Inc., a leading provider of Microsoft SharePoint products and services to the legal industry, used by global law firms and corporate legal departments.  While at XMLAW, Mr. Wolf implemented SharePoint 2003 and 2007 intranet and client extranet solutions for the largest law firms in the U.S., including design of SharePoint 2007 user interface and branding.

Before joining XMLAW, Mr. Wolf was the principal founder of WolfVooys International, Inc., a technology consulting firm which offered strategic and implementation advice to professional firms.  Mr. Wolf guided clients through implementations and development of business practices for enterprise-wide Client Relationship Management systems and provided training, hands-on configuration and installation services.

Before opening WolfVooys, Mr. Wolf was a senior consultant at eSentio where he developed and managed a well received and highly utilized nine-month CRM implementation at a prestigious AMLaw 100 law firm.  Mr. Wolf also developed methodologies resulting in successful CRM implementations in corporate environments highly resistant to change.  Prior to joining eSentio, Mr. Wolf was a senior software designer at Interface Software, Inc. and designed the user interface and functionality for the first web-based version of InterAction® Client Relationship Management software.

eSentio Welcomes New Senior Consultant with BCP Expertise, Scott Kindred, CBCP
Washington, D.C. - March 29, 2007 - Scott Kindred comes to eSentio with over 20 years of experience in planning, program management and personnel management and over 7 years experience in emergency response, risk management, disaster recovery planning, business continuity planning, and contract management.  Prior to joining eSentio, Mr. Kindred spent 10 years at Shook, Hardy & Bacon, LLP, an international law firm located in Kansas City, MO specializing in Business Continuity. 

For the past three years at Shook, under the direction of Atlas Lee, Mr. Kindred has served as the Business Continuity Manager where he was responsible for the review and maintenance of over 25 business continuity plans including the IT, accounting, human resource and administrative departments and also activated plans in Miami, Tampa and Houston due to hurricanes causing office closures.  He was also responsible for negotiating and supervising contracts with off-site storage vendors for each office, host-site recovery vendors in the US and Europe, and for a cold-site workgroup recovery.  Mr. Kindred served as the project manager for two years designing and implementing a hosted data replication facility, and planned, coordinated, and supervised over 30 disaster recovery exercises for IT.  Mr. Kindred uses his knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery planning, and his experience in leading multi-million dollar projects to assist eSentio clients through the planning, implementation, evaluation, and troubleshooting stages of their projects.

Mr. Kindred, a Certified Business Continuity Professional, has conducted professional presentations on business continuity at the California Emergency Services Association annual conference and LegalTech 2006, and was also selected by Citytech Magazine as one of the Top 100 Global Tech Leaders in 2006.Before entering the legal technology industry, Mr. Kindred received his M.A. in Computer Resources and Information Management from Webster University and served as an officer in the United States Army for 20 years.  Mr. Kindred resides in Kansas and operates out of eSentio’s Washington, DC headquarters.

Washington, D.C. – January 26, 2007  eSentio is pleased to announce the addition of Atlas Lee.  Mr. Lee’s extensive experience with business continuity planning further cements eSentio’s leadership position in the legal consulting industry.  Mr. Lee has over 23 years of IT experience, eighteen of which in the legal industry, and the past sixteen focused specifically on business continuity planning.  As the Director of Business Continuity at Shook Hardy & Bacon, a prestigious AmLaw 100 firm based in Kansas City, Missouri, Mr. Lee developed, managed and implemented all phases of the firm’s business continuity strategy and information protection program.  Widely regarded as an industry expert, Mr. Lee is well versed in business impact analysis, risk analysis, technology recovery planning, life/safety planning, alternate data center/workspace selection and business resumption planning.

Mr. Lee is a Certified Business Continuity Professional, and has spoken at many distinguished national and international conferences and seminars on business continuity planning, disaster preparedness and recovery, and information systems security.  He is a published author of several white papers on business continuity planning and disaster recovery that have appeared in leading industry publications such as LawNet Inc., ILTA, Oregon State Bar Law Practice Management, and the Atlanta Daily Report.  Mr. Lee was profiled in the February 2006 issue of Peer to Peer magazine, and previously served on the Board of Directors of the Partnership for Emergency Planning.  Mr. Lee will be presenting on business continuity planning at the ARK Group BCP Masters Course in Chicago on November 30, and at LegalTech New York in late January.

Mr. Lee has joined the eSentio Team as a Senior Consultant.  He resides in Lee’s Summit, Missouri with his wife, Vivian “Cookie” Lee, and will operate out of eSentio’s Washington, DC headquarters.  We are excited to welcome Mr. Lee to the eSentio team of experienced legal consulting and technology professionals.
