RECORDS MANAGEMENT LEAD

eSentio, the leading provider of technology consulting and implementation services to law firms and corporate legal departments, currently has a very unique opportunity for a highly skilled Client and Matter Records Life Cycle and Workflow Management Consultant to join our highly respected firm and lead this consulting practice area.
We are seeking an individual with a strong presence and excellent interpersonal skills who is interested in taking their career to the next level. We are flexible concerning where our candidate is located. We do require someone who is able to deal with substantial travel.

The position that we are seeking to fill is for someone to lead our Client and Matter Records Life Cycle and Workflow Management consulting services that include: business development, practice management and directing our Client and Matter Records Life Cycle and Workflow Management consultants. This is a unique opportunity to direct and expand a leading practice area.

Required Skills:
Our candidate will possess excellent skills in all areas of law firm client and matter records management and work flow processes, including; records management policy development, records retention schedule development, new client and matter origination, conflicts clearing processes, practice area records management to include email and document folders, knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA and other related issues.

In addition, our candidate should also have experience either as a consultant, practicing lawyer or as a Manager/Director of a Records Management function.

Law firm experience, CRM certification and a JD is highly desirable, as is knowledge of products such as Legal Key and/or MDY and/or Accutrak Records Management system. However we will consider other professional services backgrounds.

 

KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT
Job Description:

  • Assisting clients with designing & implementation of KM systems
  • Maintaining a high level of technical expertise, industry- knowledge and professional disposition
  • Mentoring personnel assigned to individual projects and within the group on KM best practices
  • Designing, documenting, implementing, deploying, and, when applicable, managing implementations of KM systems
  • Evaluating existing KM implementations and developing recommendations for problem resolution, enhancement, and tuning and presenting recommendations to client’s management, administrative and/or technical staff
  • Developing, maintaining, and managing against project plans, implementation timelines, and application distribution schedules
  • Developing and refining existing design and implementation methodologies
  • Presenting at trade shows and CIO Roundtables.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent experience with at least 8 years related experience in areas of responsibility.

SHAREPOINT DEVELOPER

  • Assisting clients with designing & implementation SharePoint along with other technologies, specializing in Matter Centric deployments including connections to Document Management Systems, Accounting Systems, and Messaging Systems
  • Maintaining a high level of technical expertise, industry- knowledge and professional disposition
  • Mentoring personnel assigned to individual projects and within the group on SharePoint best practices Designing, documenting, implementing, deploying, and, when applicable, managing implementations of portals
  • Evaluating existing portal implementations and developing recommendations for problem resolution, enhancement, and tuning and presenting recommendations to client’s management, administrative and/or technical staff

SENIOR DMS CONSULTANT (Matter-Centric Expert)

  • Entails assisting clients with implementation support, and implementation project and budget management.

This position is responsible for development of and execution of sales and in an assigned territory  as well as helping to build marketing programs to support sales plans, as well as leveraging partner relationships to secure sales.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of five years selling professional services and information technology solutions to AmLaw 200 firms
  • High level consultative sales experience (5 years)
  • Familiarity with sophisticated technology solutions (5 years)
  • Successful due diligence and deal structuring expertise (5 years)
  • The demonstrated ability of annually generating a minimum of $3 million in sales of professional services.
